As a City Councillor, I've worked to bring together residents, community organizations, staff, businesses, and government partners to strengthen our community. I believe in teamwork. I believe in listening. And I believe that even when we disagree, meaningful conversations can help us find common ground.
The challenges facing Stratford—from housing and homelessness to affordability and aging infrastructure—are too complex for any one person or organization to solve alone. We will move forward by working together, as a Council, as a City and as a community. My commitment to you is to be the Leader who brings us together to meet these challenges.
PRIORITIES
Affordability
Create a community where young and old can afford to live, work and play. Having a full spectrum of housing, access to childcare and a safe and connected transportation system are keys to improving affordability.
Sustainability & Resiliency
Address the climate crisis while encouraging economic growth. Prepare for what the future holds, whether that includes economic downturns, climate events, or changing demographics.
Safer Streets
Renew Stratford's infrastructure, making our streets, pathways and sidewalks safe and accessible for all users.
Engagement
Ensure that our community knows what the City is doing and why, and provide opportunities for conversations. Reach out to people who are not often invited to the table and work together to make Stratford a more inclusive community.
